<head>History of University of Wyoming University Bookstore </head>
<p>The University of Wyoming Bookstore was established in 1921 and was originally housed in the Arts Building north of Old Main. By 1960 the Bookstore had outgrown the space in the Arts Building and was moved to Ross Hall, and then moved again in 1973 after the renovations to the Wyoming Union were completed. The bookstore still sits in that location today. It serves the UW campus by providing textbooks and course materials, art and lab supplies, UW-licensed gifts and apparel, commencement regalia and office supplies, along with being an Apple authorized campus store. The store underwent a re-brand in 2013 and is now called the University Store in order to reflect its broad range of services. In 2021, the store celebrated 100 years of service to the University of Wyoming community.</p>

<p>The American Heritage Center aspires to approach all areas of our work in ways that are
respectful to those who create, use, and are represented in our collections. For a variety of
reasons, however, users may encounter offensive or harmful language or images in some of our
finding aids, catalogs, and collection materials.</p>

<p>Note that the AHC does not censor or alter contents of the collections as they provide context and evidence of a time, people, place, or event.
Therefore, we encourage users to bring questions and concerns about descriptions in our finding aids to our attention via <extref href="mailto:bblasi@uwyo.edu">email</extref> or <extref href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7UKY6227Uluu6mYZv-63VA_hQSNd7kgRhsaLC-UD2NOB9cg/viewform">anonymous web-form</extref>.
