                        <p>Formed in 1982 in Corvallis, Oregon, the Heart of the Valley Homebrewers (HOTV) is a nonprofit organization of homebrewing enthusiasts devoted to raising money for scholarships and other charitable groups. HOTV is a registered homebrew club operating under the guidelines of the American Homebrewers Association. In addition to hosting the annual Oregon Homebrew Festival - the Pacific Northwest's oldest homebrew competition - HOTV also organizes the annual SeptembeerFest event, which serves as a fundraiser for local charities.</p>
