      <p>David Powers is an experienced skier and has been skiing at Snowbird, Alta, Utah for 35 years. To this day, he provides daily observations on snow conditions in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah to help and inform other skiers and snowboarders. Powers makes his assessments at Snowbird by personally sampling the snow every day, averaging about 130 days of skiing every year.</p>
