			<p>Originally called the Office of International Programs established in 1963 to
				coordinate and oversee the International Study Abroad programs. This program was
				reorganized in 1971 resulting in an apparent name change although the tasks of the
				office remained the same, coordinating programs with foreign student sponsoring
				agencies and universities. This program also appears to have encompassed NICSA
				(Northwest Interinstitutional Council on Study Abroad). The program underwent
				another reorganizing in the late 1980's resulting in the offices present day
				organization. </p>

			<p>Records cover 1983-1987 and include administrative correspondence with foreign
				universities and individuals, sign up and booking forms, and course equivalent
				catalogs. Box 1 includes administrative correspondence, flight booking forms,
				program policy documents, Danish Consulate correspondence, and Polish
				correspondence. Box 2 includes NICSA (Northwest Interinstitutional Counsel on Study
				Abroad) faculty guidelines and correspondence, and exchange programs with Thailand,
				University of Whales, University of Adelaide, and University of Guadalajara. Box 3
				includes miscellaneous correspondence and correspondence with foreign universities
				including Latrobe University, Jordan University, and Nihon University. Box 4
				contains administrative forms, program brochures, and enrollment data. </p>
