			<p>Diane Dempster grew up in Oregon and South Dakota, and graduated from the University
				of Wisconsin at Green Bay. As of 2017, she has worked at Charlie's Produce in
				Seattle for over 28 years, currently serving as Manager of the Farmer's Own Program
				and Organic Procurement Specialist. Previously, she worked for Farmers Wholesale
				Cooperative (Olympia, WA) and another cooperative organization, Willamette Valley
				Growers (Salem, OR). She served on the Board of Directors for the Tilth Producers of
				Washington from 1987 to 2016, and was a member of the Washington State Organic
				Advisory Board for nine years, including the time when the state's organic laws were
				being written. She currently serves on the Regional Food Policy Council, and
				previously served on the King County (WA) Kitchen Cabinet.</p>
