      <p>The Timberline Tavern was a country western gay and lesbian bar located in the historic Sons of Norway Hall on the corner of Boren Avenue and Virginia Street in Seattle. It opened in 1988, moved to another location in 2003. and operated as Timberline Spirit until it permanently closed in 2005.</p>
