The Albany County Library was established by the Albany County Commissioners in 1887 and was located first in the public school until 1891. The current library building in Laramie opened in 1981. The Albany County Public Library operates branches in Laramie, Centennial, and Rock River, Wyoming.
Collection contains periodicals issues from Petticoat Politics, Laramie Life, Wyoming Education News, Idaho Yesterdays, and Mountain Light.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
