		  Sivyer and Son; invested in eastern Washington, northeastern Oregon, and
		  northern Idaho electrical utilities. Includes records of King County Title
		  Company, Seattle, Wash. (1926-1927); Puget Sound Title, Seattle, Wash.
		  (1927-1962); Deschutes Power Company (1920-1926); Bend Light and Power Company
		  (1912-1927); Enterprise Electric Company (1920-1926); Grangeville Power &amp;
		  Light (1925-1926); and Joseph Light &amp; Power Company (1926).</abstract>

      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>Walter C. Sivyer (1862-1945) came to Spokane Falls in 1889 and entered
		  the real estate and title insurance business. In 1894 he organized the Inland
		  Empire Company, which in 1912 became Walter C. Sivyer and Son Company. The firm
		  invested extensively in eastern Washington, northeastern Oregon, and northern
		  Idaho electrical utilities, including Grangeville Electric Light and Power
		  Company, Enterprise Electric Company, and the Deschutes Power Company. </p>
