		  interview with Jon Bridge conducted by Nancy Blase on March 10,
		  2020.</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_" id="a2"><p>Jonathan (Jon) Bridge was born and raised in Seattle. His grandfather
		  had started Ben Bridge Jeweler and his father Herb Bridge continued to run the
		  company. Prior to college, he was active in Temple De Hirsch including singing
		  every Saturday in the choir lead by Sam Goldfarb. During his years at the
		  University of Washington, he was a STAY tutor in the Seattle school system as
		  well as in Navy ROTC. While serving in the Navy, partly during the Vietnam era,
		  he earned his law degree and was based in many locations including Bremerton,
		  Washington DC, a very short time in the W. Pacific, and even was part of a
		  foreign naval exchange in Spain. </p><p>Until 2019, Jon was General Counsel for Ben Bridge and now is Counsel
		  Emeritus. He has taught religious school and served on the Temple De Hirsch
		  Sinai Board, as well as a leader in many other organizations.</p></bioghist><scopecontent><p>Oral history interview with Jon Bridge conducted by Nancy Blase on
