John Held, Jr. was a famous illustrator in the 1920s most well known for his cartoons depicting the lifestyle and culture of the generation. Held was a Utah native who's earliest illustrations were published at the age of 15. After moving to New York, Held continued to illustrate for various newspapers, magazines, and often illustrated for playwrights.
This collection contains a framed picture, postcards, magazines, musical compositions, maps, and programs depicting John Held, Jr.'s illustrations.
