         <p>David Call is a Deaf artist from California. He recieved the B.A degree at Gallaudet University and the M.A. degree in Special Education at California State University, Northridge.  He currently teaches Visual Arts at the California School for the Deaf, Fremont.  Although he has explored different art mediums from ink drawing to stained glass, his work is predominantly large sized prints done with linocut. He credits his inspiration from The Maze by William Kurelek. Most of his work focuses on the cultural history of Deaf people as an ethnic minority.</p>
