         <p>Eula Victoria Ledgerwood Jesseph was born on September 18, 1902. She attended Whitman College, class of 1924. She died on June 9, 1988.</p>

         <p>The Eula Ledgerwood Papers, which date from 1920 through 1923, contain a scrapbook of items related to student life at Whitman College, especially sorority life. The collection also includes dance souvenirs and other ephemera, a booklet on Whitman College Women's Association Self-Government, a poster of "Regulations governing conduct of freshmen women," photographs, and programs from various Whitman theatrical and musical productions.</p>
