      <p>Robert Alan Goldberg (1949-) is a professor of history at the University of Utah whose specialties include American social movements and the American West. His research and publications include work on politician Barry Goldwater, the Ku Klux Klan in Colorado, Jewish farmers in Clarion, Utah, social movements including the National Organization for Women (NOW), and conspiracy theories including those relating to unidentified flying objects (UFOs).</p>
