      <p>The Scott P. Daynes digital photograph collection documents river trips taken with children on the Green River in Utah including the 1966 Friendship Cruise and a trip on the upper Green below Flaming Gorge Dam in the 1960s. The Friendship Cruise is an annual boating event that began in 1957. It takes place the day before a marathon race on the Green and Colorado River, and was established to familiarize participants with the 197-mile course.</p>

      <p>The Scott P. Daynes digital photograph collection contains scans of 73 35mm color slides documenting river trips taken with children on the Green River in Utah. The collection includes the 1966 Friendship Cruise and a trip on the upper Green below Flaming Gorge Dam in the 1960s.</p>
