            <head>Biography of Peggy Bieber-Roberts</head><p>Peggy Bieber-Roberts (b. 1943) was born Mobridge, South Dakota. She earned a Bachelor of Science at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, in 1966; a Master of Arts at the University of Wyoming in 1984; and a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1990.</p>
            <p>She was a teacher in secondary public schools in Idaho and on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (1968-1971). In 1977, she co-founded the <emph>Medicine Bow Post</emph>, a weekly newspaper in Medicine Bow, Wyoming. Bieber-Roberts was a legislative reporter for various Wyoming weekly newspapers from 1980 to 1982. She then became co-owner of <emph>Capitol Times</emph> magazine in Cheyenne, Wyoming (1982-1984). Bieber-Roberts next taught journalism at the University of Washington, the University Wyoming, at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, American University in Cairo, and University Sherjah in the United Arab Emirates (1986-2009).</p>

            <head>Scope and Content</head><p>The collection contains five photographs taken by Peggy Bieber-Roberts of attendees at the Wyoming State Democratic Convention in Rock Springs held May 7 to 8, 1982 and one photograph of attendees at a Laramie County Democratic Party meeting held in spring, 1982. Bieber-Roberts took the photos for the <emph>Capitol Times</emph> magazine based in Wyoming.</p>
