  	<head>Biography of Stan Oliner</head><p>Stan Oliner was librarian for the National Amateur Press Association for more than thirty years. He collected many amateur press publications, including publications of the Lone Scouts of America and the Elbeetian Legion. The Lone Scouts was an organization for boys who were not able to join a Boy Scout troop. The Elbeetian Legion was organized by Charles Merlin to allow former Lone Scouts to stay connected through newsletters and conventions.</p>

  	<head>Scope and Content</head><p>The Oliner collection contains amateur press publications from members of the National Amateur Press Association, American Amateur Press Association, United Amateur Press Association, and others. There are also publications of the Lone Scouts of America and the Elbeetian Legion, as well as correspondence of Charles Merlin.</p>
