               <p>Indexing and documentation project conducted Spring, 1982 in Seattle by Howard Weiss and Michele Shallon, musicologists. Documentation was of earlier projects (including recordings of Adatto/Jacobs -- copies of original discs in M. Jacobs Coll.) which recorded or discussed songs of Seattle Sephardim. The project was funded by the Washington State Jewish Historical Society. Rina Benmayor's book, in which songs she recorded in Seattle are discussed, has the UW call number, ML 3776 R65 1979.</p>
