      <head>Biographical Note</head>
      <p>Drew Hicken (b.1968) was a competitive snowboarder for the "Salty 8," a team sponsored by Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop.  Hicken started the Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop in 1988 with Dennis Nazari.  Hicken competed in various competitions, among which were the Wolf creek competition, which he took first place, and the Rocky Mountain Series slalom.</p>
