         <p>Temple Adath was built in 1930 at the corner of Locust and King Streets in Centralia, WA. It serves as the spiritual home of the Jewish community of the Twin Cities. Its services are conservative in nature and the congregation's members support the synagogue by their own finances and labor.</p>

The scrapbook contains news clippings, correspondence, speech transcripts, and programs documenting the history of the synagogue and the Jewish community in Centralia. Includes a letter in which Schwartz recounts the demise of the congregation and eventual closure in 1992.</p>
