The Older Women’s League (OWL) was a nonprofit founded in 1980 to promote research, education, and advocacy activities to improve the quality of life of midlife and older women. The regional Seattle-King County chapter was founded on November 20, 1980 with Caroline E. Preston as president. Due to sustainability issues, the Seattle-King County chapter disbanded in December 2016. The national organization officially disbanded in 2017.
