        carried on the business after his death.</abstract>

      <head>Biographical Note</head>
      <p>Frank Palmer came to Washington from Atchison, KS in 1898. He apparently settled in Stevens
        County and established a photography business. In 1906 Palmer moved to Spokane and continued
        his photographic endeavors until his death in 1920. Palmer advertised himself as a scenic
        photographer specializing in “Inland Empire Wonderland Scenery.”</p>

      <p>The collection consists of Palmer’s sales ledger, 1907-1920; a ledger listing photographs
        by geographic location, ca. 1908; and fragmentary business correspondence to his wife who
        carried on the business after his death, 1920-1930.</p>
