		  congregations in the Northwest (Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver, B.C., Calgary,
		  Edmonton, Portland) in 1955. Facilities were rented until its present site was
		  purchased in 1968.</p><p>The Pacific Northwest Region of United Synagogues of America (a
