			<p>WSU's college of Agriculture came into existence with the start of instruction at the school in 1892. The major in Soils dates only to 1966, while Agronomy dates to 1929. </p>

			<p>The collection consists of approximately 80 black and white photographic prints of Agronomy and Soils
				students, apparently in the 1969-1971 range. Agronomy and Soils were the two majors
				offered within the department of Agronomy, in WSU's college of Agriculture. Some
				negatives are included. Also present are a few photos of state FFA crops judging,
				which are high school students. </p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing
				order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting
				performed by staff. </p>
			<p>The items remain in the order in which they came. Few are labeled, but about half are
				in labeled envelopes. All dated materials are in the 1969-1970 range. </p>
