		  cultural center in Seattle, Washington where people of all backgrounds are
		  welcomed to be inspired by the values, traditions, art, and spirit of the
		  Nordic peoples. Dedicated to collecting, preserving, and educating since its
		  founding in 1980, Nordic Heritage Museum is the only museum in the United
		  States to honor the legacy of immigrants from the five Nordic countries:

		  Many of the films are promotional travel films, produced by organizations
		  including Scandinavian Airline Systems, the Swedish Travel Information Bureau,
		  and the Spanish National Tourist Office. The travel films explore Norway,
		  Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, and the Swedish community in Vancouver, BC.
		  Narrative films in the collection originate from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. A
		  large portion of the films depict Scandinavian industry, with a focus on
		  fishing, showing the process of capturing, processing, and preparing fish.
		  Other films include recordings of a Nordic Festival at Seattle Center, films
		  promoting the Sons of Norway organization, and World War II era Finnish news
