Anna Ulbright Janson was married on June 24, 1917 in Idaho to Gust Janson (June 30, 1892--June 9, 1966) in Spokane, Washington. Mary Bauer Ulbright, Anna's mother, had come across the plains in a covered wagon to settle in Hauser lake, Idaho and later in Spokane. Gust was a stenographer and a clerk, and served in WWI. They owned a second -hand bookstore in the Seattle Public Market for many years. They later moved the shop to 1st avenue where it was known as Fouray bookstore. Gust also worked at Longacres whenever the races were on. They had a daughter named Marianne (born 2 November 1922) who served as a WAVE in WWII. They also had a son, Brice Russell Wallace Janson, born on 19 January 1934.
Album of photographs of scenes of Janson's family, Seattle, Camp Lewis, and soldiers from Camp Lewis including Gust Janson (Anna's husband) and other friends. The album includes two photographs of "flu' dodgers" - soldiers wearing face masks to protect them from the 1918 influenza pandemic.
