The collection is comprised of 19th century photographs in excellent condition contained within a red photograph album. Formats included are tintype, cabinets and carte-de-visite.

Many of the photographs are recognizable as being from the Blackburn and More families. The relation, if not the same person, are close, but beyond certain recognition. Thus, in most cases, photographs may be unidentified, yet missing only confirming research. Will Bagley of Salt Lake conferred with the Blackburn relatives and Arda Haenszel and Mary Lewis of Southern California to positively identify eight of the photographs. Mary Lewis was able to identify three additional photos.

Mr. Eugene Bell received the family photog album from his grandmother, Minnie More Moon Bell. The album apparently belonged to Arnetta Matilda Blackburn West.
