Nellis Eugene Hill was born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming, the son of John A. and Evelyn “Corthell” Hill and the grandson of Nellis Eugene Corthell. The Corthell and Hill families were active in the Laramie community and the University of Wyoming. Nellis Eugene Hill became a United States Army pilot and served in World War II.

 Scope and Content

Collection contains information on Nellis Eugene Hill’s experiences at the University of Wyoming and in World War II, correspondence between Hill and his family, financial records, family histories, photographs, and newspaper clippings regarding N.E. Hill’s life and career. The collection also contains records of the Hill/Corthell family.
