			<p>The original wax cylinder recordings were made circa 1897-1912, and are on permanent
				loan from the Washington State University Libraries to the American Folklife Center
				at the Library of Congress.</p>

			<p>This collection contains reproductions of the Sam Morris collection of Nez Perce
				music recordings. These reel-to-reel copies were produced by the Library of Congress
				in 1990. The original wax cylinder recordings, 69 in all, were made circa 1897-1912.
				They are on permanent loan from the Washington State University Libraries to the
				American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. </p>
			<p>Most of these recordings have been published as part of The Nez Perce Music
				Archive.</p>
