merged on July 1, 2011 to create the Department of Oral Health Sciences (OHS).
The Department of Oral Health Sciences offers comprehensive, interdisciplinary
training in biological and clinically-oriented oral health sciences. Four
degree programs are currently offered (PhD, DDS/PhD, MS, and MS in Oral Health
Sciences for Dental Hygienists). Faculty expertise spans a range of fields
including molecular biology, microbiology, craniofacial biology, basic and
applied behavioral science, dental public health, dental hygiene, clinical
