      <p>Esther Elizabeth Thomas was a student at Moscow High School and the University of Idaho. While attending the U of I, Esther was a very active member in the campus community. She was a member of the De Smet Club, the Home Economics Club, and the Women's Association. She was also secretary of the ASUI. In 1918, the flu pandemic swept the country. During this time, Esther worked as a nurse on campus for the American Red Cross through pandemic. She graduated in 1919 with a BS in Home Economics.</p>

      <p>These scrapbooks were created by Esther E. Thomas during her time at the University of Idaho and the Moscow community. They include photographs, dance cards, invitations, cards, and other trinkets and memorabilia. There are also two yellow felt has from 1915-1918, one has football game scores written on them while the other has "Effie Swanson" written on the inside.</p>
