  		<p> The full Reisenauer clan, consisting of four brothers, their mother, and their families, moved from Fort Scott Kansas to Colton WA in 1886.  Carl Reisenauer (1897-1995) was born on his family's  Colton farm, and, outside of a short military stint, lived his whole life in Colton working as a postman.</p>

	 	<p>The collection primarily consists of family photographs and work photographs ca. 1900-1930 of Carl Reisenauer, a Colton, WA postman.  Two military photographs are also included, one World War I at Washington State College, and one World War II at Camp Roberts, California.</p>
