The Phil D. Jensen diaries (1963-1967) contain five bound volumes of typescript detailing his missionary experiences. Phil Jensen (1918- ) was called by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to become president of their North Scottish Mission in 1963. These five bound volumes are the typescript copies of the diaries that he kept during his tenure as president. They cover not only the day-to-day activities of the North Scottish Mission, but also include various family activities of the Jensens in Europe. Accompanying many of the entries are photographs of family, fellow presidents, missionaries, and landscapes. The diaries go up to June 1965, when Jensen was called to become president of the California Mission.
