The Merchant’s Parking Association was established by downtown Spokane merchants in 1934 to provide off-street parking for customers. With the increasing number of automobiles, the need for such parking became greater each year. The functions of the organization were absorbed by other groups, particularly private parking lots.
The collection consists of two minute books, 1934-1952, 1952-1967, containing articles of incorporation, corporate minutes, and article of dissolution.
