      <head>History of the Medicine Bow Telephone Company</head><p>The Medicine Bow Telephone Company was established in Medicine Bow, Wyoming, in 1906. Although most of the founding members were from Medicine Bow, the company
          operated in both Medicine Bow and Laramie, Wyoming (Albany County). Charles E. Cooper, John Burnett, R.N. Cronberg, Ed Walters, and O.P. Reed were the corporation's
          first stockholders and board of trustees. Charles E. Cooper, John Burnett, and R.N. Cronberg served as
          President, Vice President, and Treasurer respectively for the first term.</p>

  	<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Collection includes a hand-written book containing the company's articles of incorporation, by-laws, minutes and officer election results from stockholders' and trustees' annual meetings (1906-1912); typed minutes and election results from meetings (1910-1911); memos (1911-1913); one sample telephone contract; and the Elk Mountain section of an edition of the "Medicine Bow Times" newspaper (1913).</p>
