The Charles R. and Jane A. Thompsen World War II airplane gunner films (circa 1942) consist of seven short clips of 16mm film recorded from a gun turret on an airplane during combat. The clips were likely filmed on scraps of 16mm left over at the end of several different reels. All seven clips have been digitized and are available for viewing on a single DVD.
