         <p>Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965) was a medical missionary, philosopher,
		  and Nobel Peace Prize winner (1952). He founded and ran a hospital with his
		  wife in Lambarene, Gabon in the early 20th century.</p>

		  17, 1949. He is shown looking at medical instruments, a musical score, and a
		  piece of art. All the photographs were made by F.J. Higgins, Highland Park, New
