Jack Edward Ravan (1937-2014) worked for the Environmental Protection Agency. He was appointed regional administrator for Region IV of the agency in September 1971. Ravan also served as federal assistant administrator for water quality and as director of the Alabama State Docks.
Collection contains speeches by Ravan on environmental subjects; reports; and a tape of a talk by Ravan.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
