The bulk of the collection consists of tape recordings of the forums. Also included are newsletters, meeting notices, and several lists of past speakers. English .

The City Club was founded in Boise in 1995 to provide a non-partisan forum for the discussion of critical community issues. The club hosts twelve to eighteen meetings a year, with a guest speaker or a panel, sometimes in the evenings but often over lunch at a Boise hotel. Members include civic and business leaders in the city, and topics of discussion range from local issues to international concerns in the social, political, cultural, and economic arenas. Guest speakers are often prominent figures from out-of-town. At the club's fifth anniversary in 2000, membership numbered approximately 500.

The bulk of the collection consists of tape recordings of the forums. Also included are newsletters, meeting notices, and several lists of past speakers.

There have been two accessions to date, in 1997 and 2002, by presidents Dottie Stimpson and Carol Martin.
