Odessa Colony, or New Odessa, was an agricultural community of Russian Jews that was established near Glendale, Or. in 1882-1883 and lasted until 1887.
Collection includes materials regarding : Correspondence between Thomas Vaughan, David T. Mason and Robert Rosenbluth, 1964, concerning Theodore Swett and Odessa Colony; Microfilm and photocopies of miscellaneous material relating to Odessa Colony in Douglas County, Oregon, including correspondence with descendants of colony members, 1942-1963 and a magazine article, "A Unique Agricultural Society" by Gabriel Davison and Edward A. Goodwin, 1928.
Many materials in this collection are also available on microfilm.
