Marvin Reiner grew up in Aberdeen, Washington. After his service in the Navy, he graduated from University of Washington, then University of Chicago, before returning home and taking over the operations of his father's business, Reiner's Sporting Goods, in Aberdeen.

1 audiocassette and 1 transcript of interview conducted on March 14, 2008. Reiner discusses the Jewish community in Aberdeen during the early and mid-20th century, including his involvement in building a synagogue there.
