This collection consists of two notebooks containing personal copies of Harley Jacquot's papers which were published in the McGregor Company's annual compendiums from 1951 to 1964.
Harley Jacquot, a former Washington State College Agronomist, conducted pioneering research in the field of chemical fertilization of dry land crops, especially the effect of nitrogen on crop yields. The McGregor Land and Livestock Company was the host of Jacquot's research plot beginning in 1948, and in 1951 this research was published annually in a compendium for the benefit of farmers across the country.
