            <p>George and Maria Rybka lived in the area of Castle Valley, Utah. They were involved in river running and other outdoor activities in the American southwest. The Rybkas documented their outdoor activity and family vacations from the 1950s to 1970s in slides.</p>

            <p>The George and Maria Rybka photograph collection consists of 4 boxes containing 3,440 color slides and negatives dating from 1955 to 1979. The images depict the Rybka family on vacation and engaging in outdoor recreation, including river sports. Locations depicted include Glen Canyon (Pre-Dam) Canyonlands, Colorado, Moab, and several other western and southwestern American destinations.</p>
