Historical NoteReturn to Top
John A. Winter (dates unknown) was one of Eugene's earliest photographers and maintained a studio there 1864-1886 in addition to working in Albany and Brownsville. His son, Clarence, kept the Eugene studio from 1886-1907 and then moved north to Portland and Seattle. The Winter studio collection consists of 37 images, primarily portraits.
