George Gobel (1919-1991) was an American humorist and comedian. He starred in his own variety program called The George Gobel Show that ran from 1954 to 1960. The show hosted various well known guests from the era including Jack Benny, Tennessee Ernie Ford, and Henry Fonda.
Collection contains audio tapes, films, and scripts of The George Gobel Show and And Here’s the Show that include appearances of many famous entertainment personalities.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
