Biography of Martin Horrell

Martin Horrell (1899-1957) created the radio anthology series "Grand Central Station", which lasted from 1939 to 1953. Some of the "Grand Central Station" material was reused for Horrell's television drama called "Soundstage" in 1953 and 1954. Horrell gave a start to many popular writers, including Arnold Moss, Arch Oboler, Hal Kantor, Sidney Marshall, and others. The dramas were also notable for early appearances by actors Rod Serling and James Dean.
