         <p>Katherine Albert (1902-1970) and Dale Eunson (1904-2002) were authors, playwrights, and screenwriters who collaborated as husband and wife on several works until Albert's death in 1970. The couple authored Broadway plays, including <emph render="italic">Loco</emph>, scripts for films such as <emph render="italic">On the Loose</emph> (starring their daughter, Joan Evans), <emph render="italic">Sabre Jet</emph> (starring Robert Stack), and <emph render="italic">The Star</emph> (starring Bette Davis), as well some television scripts for <emph render="italic">Leave It to Beaver</emph> and <emph render="italic">Little House on the Prarie</emph>, among others. Albert and Eunson married in 1931, having their only child, Joan Evans, in 1934.</p>

         <p>The Katherine Albert and Dale Eunson papers contains manuscripts for plays, screenplays, teleplays, and short stories. Dale Eunson, Katherine Albert Eunson's husband, coauthored the plays, screenplays, and teleplays, which include: <emph render="italic">And be my Love</emph> for <emph render="italic">Ironside</emph>, <emph render="italic">The Cello</emph> for <emph render="italic">The Human Comedy</emph>, <emph render="italic">The Empty Room</emph>, <emph render="italic">Gidget Goes to Rome</emph>, <emph render="italic">The Gilded Orphan</emph>, <emph render="italic">Homecoming</emph> for <emph render="italic">Father of the Bride</emph>, <emph render="italic">Iron Butterfly</emph>, <emph render="italic">Loco</emph>, <emph render="italic">Me and Benjy</emph>, <emph render="italic">Stand-in for Murder</emph>, and <emph render="italic">Under the Southern Cross</emph>. The collection also contains three short stories authored solely by Katherine Albert Eunson: "Follow, Follow, Little Swallow," "The Lucky Man," and "There's Nothing To It."</p>
