      <p>Canterbury Castle was built in Portland, Oregon, in the style of a medieval castle by J. O. Frye from 1929-1931. Bill Devlin, a general contractor in the Portland area, performed a series of remodeling and restoration projects on the Canterbury Castle from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. The building was demolished in 2009.</p>

Also included is letter from Devlin with historical background about the building and its features, and about the work he did on it.</p>
