      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>The Lewis and Clark School was built in 1954 in Missoula, Montana to
		  provide elementary level education. It was named after Meriwether Lewis and
		  William Clark. The principals in the school's history were George Hall from
		  1955 to 1970, Ben Hanson from 1970 to 1977, Darrel Peterson from 1977 to 1982,
		  Glenn Kozeluh from 1982 to 1992, Karen Allen from 1992 to 2009 and Jack Sturgis
		  who is the principal as of this writing.</p>
