      <abstract encodinganalog="description">The Nolan James Nelson Photograph Collection consists of two separate photo albums which range mostly from 1910-1930. The first 
                photograph album has images of 
                unidentified people, probably from Jennie O'Neil's family, Nolan J. Nelson's wife. These photos are from Preston, Logan, Brigham City, Salt Lake City, and 
                Venice, California. The second album has images of Nolan J. Nelson on his LDS Mission and people who are most probably his family and might include Byron 
                Stalone Nelson (Father), Polly Jane Tubbs (Mother), Gladys Nelson Huff (Sister), Howard Homer Huff (Brother-in-Law), and Thomas O. Nelson (Son). The photos were taken  
              in Montpelier, Idaho, Logan, and Atlanta, Georgia.</abstract>

      <p>The collection was donated by Newell Hart. Photo Album #1 has written on the inside cover, "Jennie O'Neil-Pocatello, ID". Photo Album #2 has stickers on the 
                inside cover saying that the album belonged to a Chris Gunderson and was, "given to Newell and Ruth Hart on July 10, 1978, by his sister Marie D. Bennett." </p>

      <head>Biographical Note</head>
      <p>Nolan Nelson was born July 8,1897, in Pelgram, Bear Lake County, Idaho. He served an LDS Mission to the Southeast States in 1917. He married Jennie O'Neil around 
                1920, and had at least two children, Thomas O'Neil and Gladys. He lived in Montpelier, Idaho. </p>

    <scopecontent encodinganalog="description">
      <p>The Nolan James Nelson Photograph Collection consists of two separate photo albums which range mostly from 1910-1930. The first photograph album has images of 
                unidentified people, probably from Jennie O'Neil's family, Nolan J. Nelson's wife. These photos are from Preston, Logan, Brigham City, Salt Lake City, and 
                Venice, California. The second album has images of Nolan J. Nelson on his LDS Mission and people who are most probably his family and might include Byron 
                Stalone Nelson (Father), Polly Jane Tubbs (Mother), Gladys Nelson Huff (Sister), Howard Homer Huff (Brother-in-Law), and Thomas O. Nelson (Son). The photos take

                in the collection are a few paper documents and images. </p>
      <p>Photographs were originally attached to photo albums and glued to black construction paper. Some photos had fallen out or were loosely stored. The pages of album 
                are now detached and put in separate folders for preservation purposes. Loose photos were put in plastic sleeves. Most photos are in good condition, some are 
                falling off the paper.</p>
