      <p>The James H. Strang papers consist of photocopies of meeting minutes, transcribed statements, and other records of James Strang's church in Voree, Wisconsin. Begins with a transcription of the "appointment letter," continues with details of church organization in Voree, records church and High Council meetings, lists ordinations, appointments, and missions. Much of the book is in a good copy hand (possibly that of Gilbert Watson, a clerk), with occasional supplementary entries and completions in other hands.</p>
